The Community Center, INC.:
The Community Center’s mission is to provide an inviting and safe facility for the use of all LGBT and allied community organizations and individuals. Founded in December 1983, The Community Center (TCC) is the only SW Idaho lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and allied community center. TCC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Boise Pride, Inc.:
Boise Pride, Inc was formed to produce events for the local community that will bring the community together in the acceptance and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Idaho. The origins of pride in Idaho date back to 1990, when the first decision was made to create awareness of the GLBT community. Since that first event, Idaho people have celebrated pride in many different ways. We are the premier provider for all pride related events in the greater Boise area, providing an opportunity for the entire Idaho community to learn more about the LGBT community.
Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, & Allies for Diversity (BGLAD):
Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, and Allies, for Diversity (BGLAD) was formed to fulfill the need for an increase in dialog and an enhancement of understanding among the members of the Boise State University community concerning Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) issues. The purpose is to provide a supportive and educational environment for our members; provide positive bisexual, gay and lesbian awareness and information in the Boise State community; provide a positive environment for social interaction and personal growth; interact and build coalitions with other minority and special interest groups on campus. Southern Idaho GLBT Community Center's mission is to promote the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex and transgender persons, their families and friends through support to cope with an adverse society, education to enlighten an ill-informed public and advocacy to end discrimination and secure equal rights.
Triangle Connection: Triangle Connection is a social and civic organization for gay and lesbian adults in Boise, a means to foster friendships outside the bar scene and, for those coming out or contemplating doing so, a supportive gateway into the gay community. Monthly meetings may feature a guest speaker; there are also occasional brunches, discussion groups, and social events. We maintain an email list to inform members of meetings and events; it is not a dating or hookup website. Ada County Human Rights Task Force:
Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the First Congregational United Church of Christ on the corner of 23rd and Woodlawn in Boise. This group was formed to monitor hate crimes in the local vicinity as well as advocate for the rights of the victims of hate crimes. First Congregational United Church of Christ (UCC):

- The Ada County Human Rights Task Force is a group that focuses on hate crime and the targets of hate crime. Activities include support of those who have suffered at the hands of perpetrators and education of the public.

- The Boise Police Department takes hate crimes very seriously. This department has a victim crime unit headed up by the Victim Crime Unity Coordinator, Janet Waller. When a crime occurs they investigate if it was due to a bias or racial event and appropriate steps are taken for prosecution of the offenders. Janet also provides education to the community about hate crimes.

- The LGBT Scholarship Association of Idaho is a directory of scholarships, grants, and internships for interested LGBT and allied students.
